Hi! I’m Lauren, the proud owner of Tamed Tails Dog & Cat Grooming.
AKA - The Pet Specialist!
I specialise in in-home mobile grooming, serving dogs and cats throughout Manchester — and for cats, I also travel up to an hour beyond the city.
My journey into mobile grooming began because of my own rescue dog, Pepper, a German Spitz who experiences separation anxiety and is fearful of strangers. While traditional salons worked well for my other dogs, Pepper found the environment overwhelming and stressful, which made grooming a real challenge for her.
That experience inspired me to create a grooming service that prioritises calm, personalised care—so that pets like Pepper, and others with similar needs, can enjoy grooming in a relaxed, familiar setting.
I wanted to make sure that she and other dogs and cats can have the best possible experience when being groomed.
